Cisco Eliminates Core Knowledge Questions from CCIE R&S and CCIE Voice
Beginning on May 10, Cisco CCIE® Routing and Switching and CCIE Voice lab exams, in all global locations, will no longer include the four open-ended Core Knowledge questions. The total lab time will remain eight hours. For the CCIE Routing and Switching lab exam, this means that candidates will begin with the two-hour “Troubleshooting” section, followed by a six-hour “Configuration” section. For CCIE Voice, candidates will have the full eight hours to complete the integrated exam. At this time, only the Routing and Switching and Voice tracks will be eliminating the Core Knowledge questions. [Read More]

Cisco announces the release of the TSHOOT #642-832 exam. The TSHOOT exam tests network engineers on the skills necessary to plan and perform regular maintenance on complex enterprise routed and switched networks while using technology-based practices and a systematic Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL®)-compliant approach to perform network troubleshooting.
